Marari Beach Villas A Perfect Beach Holiday Home - Hotel in Mararikulam

This review is long overdue. We stayed here for a couple of nights over New Years with a group of 12 adults and 3 kids. The property is nice with a badminton court, courtyard with hammocks, and roof terrace for lounging and meals. The rooms are a good size, a/c works well, and it is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. But what really makes this place amazing is Mr. Raju and his wife. They truly treat you like family and are so incredibly helpful. We had called ahead and requested a typical Kerala meal on banana leaf upon our arrival which they happily arranged. There was a wonderful cultural program planned for us on New Year’s Eve. And he arranged for a houseboat last minute on New Year’s Day. They also happily entertained the kids during the stay and all meal times so that the adults could relax and enjoy the food which was all very tasty. Only regret is that we didn’t stay here longer. Would happily come back and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home while on vacation!

This place was lovely!! I enjoyed staying here and Mr. Raju and the family were friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and well priced. The rooms, the garden and the terrace, everything was so fine. I definitely would recommend people to explore Mararikulam more. Mararikulam is what Alleppey was 15 years ago. Loved the quaint town!

This place is a home and you can expect homestay. Rooms are clean, however, bathroom roof does have spiders and webcob. basic amenities are given. Owner of this place is good to talk and treats you more like a family member. Breakfast is given at the beautifully designed roof. Beach is 5 min walk, there is a church across the road. However, could not find much eating options nearby. One can use swiggy or zomato. A good place if planning to visit Marari beach.

I really like this villa and stayed 3 times during my 5 weeks visit to India… I just wanted to come back again and again. It is place to relax or escape from busyness of big cities, to slow down & enjoy beautiful sandy beach 200m away, a few local restaurants. The owner and his family so nice, welcoming and helpful. Food is always freshly prepared, their pineapple juice is best in the world. There are lots of areas to relax during a hot day hours around garden in the shade of the trees on hammocks, on the balcony with your book or terraces on the top floor with big space for yoga/ meditation or any other activities you can practice.

We spent one night during Christmas eve. The ambience was brilliant. The property is spacious and well decorated. The host and his family members made us feel homely. The rooms have basic amenities. There are beautiful Gardens in the property. The food was home made and excellent. Highly recommended.
